How The NFL Busted Me (Special Guest "Wood D" from The "D" Spot 313)
Bill Woods (Wood D) the owner of The D Spot 313 has been vending products sourced from Chinese suppliers without encountering any issues. However, following the intervention of the Detroit Police Department on Thursday (Jan. 25), they completely emptied the sports section. Costing him a total of $3,000 in fines.
The small establishment situated on McNichols Road in the western part of the city was the focus of a raid on Wednesday night, drawing the attention of both Detroit police and representatives from the NFL.
The D Spot, where he promotes his brand, Detroit Period. Despite his nickname, his sports section was entirely stripped bare. "Everything was cleared out of the display case," stated Woods.
The authorities, in collaboration with the National Football League, targeted the counterfeit Detroit Lions jerseys, which closely resembled authentic NFL merchandise but lacked official licensing.
